Meet David & Marie Elder

David graduated from Louisiana State University. He became a Hearing Aid Specialist in 1991 and was among the first to design and employ personalized computer graphic imagery into the hearing aid fitting and selection process. He was also recognized by a leading manufacturer for ear impression protocol, and selected to train prospective Hearing Aid Specialists for the New Orleans, as well as southern and northern Louisiana territories.

Marie graduated from LSU and earned her Audiology degree in 1991, graduating Magna Cum Laude and was accepted into the LSU Medical Center’s Alpha Eta Academic Society. She participated in early implementation of Louisiana’s mandatory universal newborn hearing screening programs for St. Tammany Parish Hospital, as well as providing Audiological services for ENT offices at Ochsner and offices in Baton Rouge, Bogalusa, Covington and Mandeville, Louisiana.

With a total of over 700 hours of continuing education studies, obtained at Vanderbilt University, University of Memphis, LSU Medical Center and elsewhere, David and Marie bring a wealth of academic background and state of the art training, to complement their 24+ years of practical experience in assisting the hearing impaired.
