David & Marie Elder
David graduated from Louisiana State University. He became a Hearing Aid Specialist in 1991 and was among the first to design and employ personalized computer graphic imagery into the hearing aid fitting and selection process. He was also recognized by a leading manufacturer for ear impression protocol, and selected to train prospective Hearing Aid Specialists for the New Orleans, as well as southern and northern Louisiana territories.
Marie graduated from LSU and earned her Audiology degree in 1991, graduating Magna Cum Laude and was accepted into the LSU Medical Center's Alpha Eta Academic Society. She participated in early implementation of Louisiana's mandatory universal newborn hearing screening programs for St. Tammany Parish Hospital, as well as providing Audiological services for ENT offices at Ochsner and offices in Baton Rouge, Bogalusa, Covington and Mandeville, Louisiana.
With a total of over 700 hours of continuing education studies, obtained at Vanderbilt University, University of Memphis, LSU Medical Center and elsewhere, David and Marie bring a wealth of academic background and state of the art training, to complement their 24+ years of practical experience in assisting the hearing impaired.
David Elder Jr.
Hearing Instrument Specialist
David Elder, Jr. graduated from Louisiana State University in 1999 and became a fully licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist in 2002 in both Louisiana and Mississippi. He has served patients at clinics in Biloxi, Shreveport, Bossier City, as well as Slidell and Mandeville. Throughout 2016 and 2018, David ranked within Hearing Lab Technology’s top twenty clinics for patient care and satisfaction. In May of 2016 he ranked #1.
Davey and his wife Amber currently reside in Covington with their most precious daughter named Piper.

Patricia Allen, HIS
Hearing Aid Specialist
Patricia was born and reared in McComb, Mississippi, and earned her Associates degree from Southwestern Mississippi College. She joined the Hearing Aid Specialist organization in 1999 and holds her license as a Hearing Aid Specialist through the State of Mississippi as well as Louisiana, and is a member of the Mississippi Hearing Association. Patricia was recognized in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 for excellence in hearing aid fitting as well as hearing aid programming protocols.
It is so obvious to witness how this home-town girl loves helping people hear better. She provides a broad range of services including diagnostic hearing evaluations, hearing aid fittings, as well as follow-up consultations and care.
Patricia, her family and son, Gage, reside in McComb. She is surrounded by her patients, her family, and her friends. Patricia lovingly serves her hometown community with the most extraordinary professionalism.
